Dr. Anthony Dixon – Team Doctor

Dr. Anthony Dixon has been part of the Maroons Team for the past 6 years.  A long time resident of Chatham-Kent, Dr. Dixon divides his time between working as an Emergency Department physician and practicing Sports Medicine. Dr. Dixon has represented Canada as a physician attached to the Canadian Men’s Rugby Team both nationally and internally and even has on OMHA “Red Hat” as Trainer on a winning Chatham team. Dr. Dixon enjoys working closely with our full medical team of Chiropractors and Trainers and provides not only on ice care, but liaises with our coaches and other staff in terms of player welfare. Dr. Dixon is looking forward to the season ahead and addition to his Red Hat with another trophy!

 

 

 

Dr. Frank Little – Team Chiropractor

Born and raised in Chatham, Dr. Little graduated from University of Windsor and Logan College of Chiropractic in St Louis. He currently lives in Chatham with his wife and three children. Frank has been involved in Kent Minor Hockey as a coach and trainer for seven  years.

 

 

 

 

Dr. Jeff Weiringa – Team Chiropractor

Born and raised in Chatham and helped the Maroons win three straight championships from 2003-2006. Jeff resides in Chatham with wife Lauren and daughter Clara. He practices as a chiropractor with Dr. Frank Little.

Chris Taylor – IT/Videographer

Chris grew up in Wallaceburg and now resides in Chatham. He is a graduate of St. Clair College Chatham Campus. He works at 99.1 CKXS in Wallaceburg performing multiple roles. Chris is a volunteer producer with YourTV Chatham-Kent, producing programming for the Community television station and YouTube channel. He is also on the board of directors for Community Living Wallaceburg as a self-advocate and is on the Resource Committee. Chris has been the Chatham Maroons’ videographer for 12 years. He is the IT person for the coaching staff and Team along with the team website. Chris has certifications or training in Standard First Arid, CPR & AED, Respect in Sport for Hockey Canada Activity Leaders, Gender Identity and Expression Course & Hockey Trainers Certification Program – level 1.

 

Beck Morton – Equipment Manager

Beck is a life long hockey enthusiast who has been following the Toronto Maple Leafs since before he could walk.

When Beck isn’t at the arena he is often working as a manager at McDonald’s, having fun with his wife and son or taking care of their menagerie of animals.

 

 

 

Ed Fryscok – Skate Sharpener

My name is Ed Fryscok. I work behind the scenes for the team. I look after sharpening of the skates for the team. I have been involved with the team for quite a few years. It is an honor to watch the boys develop into great young men, and the lifelong friendships that develop allow me to follow them on their life’s adventures!
