At 20, he returned to Chatham, leading the GOJHL in both goals and points.
He then embarked on a five-year career in OUA/USPORTS, serving as a captain for the last three seasons and leading his team in goals and points during his final year. Following this, he spent a season in the ECHL, playing for the New York Islanders’ farm team, the Worcester Railers, and the New Jersey Devils’ farm team, the Adirondack Thunder. I am thrilled to begin my coaching career with the Chatham Maroons, as this organization played a significant role in my junior career and formative years. These were among the most rewarding years of my life, and the friendships I formed during this time remain some of my closest today. I cannot express how optimistic and excited I am to return to the Maroons organization.
We have the best fans in the league, and I look forward to building upon the vibrant history of the team. I am equally eager to collaborate with the Szekesy family and the outstanding coaching and management team already in place.
