Chatham Maroons “ Pink The Rink “

“Hockey is a game, Cancer is for real” The Szekesy Family and the Chatham Junior Maroons are pleased to announce, that they will once again be teaming up with The Breast Buddies Dragon Boat Team to help raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer.

The Maroons have designated their home game on Sunday, October 27th  against the LaSalle Vipers  as  “Breast Cancer Awareness Night”!

The Maroons will wear special ‘pink’ game jerseys as a tribute to the survivors of this terrible illness.  These sweaters, which were donated by SIMPLY VINYL SIGNS & GRAPHICS and SAL & SON will be autographed by the player wearing that jersey and then auctioned off with the proceeds going to The Breast Buddies.

  • A photo and puck autographed by FRANK MAHOVLICH , HOF ‘81

There will be an on-ice tribute to the Breast Buddies prior to the game. Game time is 7:00 PM at the Chatham Memorial Arena on Tweedsmuir Avenue. The Box Office will open at 6pm.
