The Chatham Maroons are proud to announce that forward Ian Lachance will be returning for the 2025–26 GOJHL season, and will take on a key leadership role as one of the team’s Assistant Captains.
Lachance was a reliable presence in the lineup last season, known for his physicality, team-first attitude, and commitment to playing a complete 200-foot game. His consistent effort and mature approach quickly earned the respect of his teammates and coaches alike.
Ian leads by example every time he steps on the ice. He plays with intensity, holds himself and others accountable, and brings an energy that’s contagious in the room. He’s exactly the kind of person we want wearing a letter.
With a full off-season of training under his belt, Lachance is expected to be a key contributor both on and off the ice, helping to set the standard for younger players coming into the program.
The Chatham Maroons are excited to welcome Ian back to the team and look forward to seeing him in action this fall at Memorial Arena.
