Maroons Head Coach/ GM announced today the signing of Cameron Welch.
“Cam is a big, strong centre that has shown he is one of the top players in our league. He is from Chatham-Kent and there is nothing like playing in your hometown. We are excited to have him join our organization.
His skating ability, skill level, and the way he competes allows him to be dangerous offensively. He takes care of both ends of the ice, wins face-offs, and he wants to win above all else.
Cam leads by how hard he plays the game. We have already seen in the two practices he’s been with us, that he raises the level of all the players around him.”
